Champers Elysees (IRE)

"Champers Elysees (Ire) (Elzaam {Aus}) was the best I've ever signed for. She was late on the third day of the Tattersalls Ireland September Yearling Sale and was a standout yearling that day. Johnny Murtagh had loved her and was gone home by the time she was in the ring so I bid on her." - Eddie Linehan, TDN 2020.

Champers Elysees was purchased by Linehan Bloodstock for €27,000 in 2018 for trainer Johnny Murtagh. She won her maiden at The Curragh in September 2019, but it was in 2020 when she showed her class. She started her three-year-old season winning at The Curragh once again before winning a Listed race at the Galway Festival.

She followed that up by winning a Group 3 at Gowran Park and her crowning moment came when winning the Group 1 Coolmore America "Justify" Matron Stakes at Leopardstown on Longines Irish Champions Weekend.

Create Belief (IRE)

Create Belief was purchased for just €12,000 at the 2019 Tattersalls September Yearling Sales for trainer Johnny Murtagh. While she only ran once as a two-year-old in 2020, she showed plenty of promise and had a stellar season in 2021.

After opening her account in April at Gowran Park, she went on to win at The Curragh before taking the Sandringham Stakes at Royal Ascot. This was also Johnny Murtagh's first Royal Ascot winner as a trainer, having ridden 48 winners at the world-famous festival.

In 2021 she won the Group 3 Invesco Pension Consultants Desmond Stakes at Leopardstown on her only start before being retired.

Acclamation (GB) x Heavenly Note (GB)

Eddie Linehan speaks to Robert Hall at Tattersalls Ireland following the sale of his Acclamation filly for £115,000. Eddie purchased the filly a year prior at Tattersalls Book 3 for just 6,500gns.

Eddie explains she was quite a weak filly in Book 3, but he liked her, and they took their time with her. In the lead-up to the 2021 Tattersalls Ireland Goresbridge Breeze Up Sale, her last few pieces of work were very impressive, and Dan O'Meara, her regular rider at home, was very happy with her. During the breeze she caught everyone's eye with her second furlong and gallop-out particularly impressive.

Following the sale, she was quick to hit the track for trainer Ed Dunlop, winning a maiden on her third outing in September of that year.
